Accounting for Retail Businesses
Single stores to multi-branch chains: we reconcile daily takings, control stock and shrinkage, and show profit by branch.
★★★★★ 5.0 on GooglePartner-led, ex-EY500+ UAE businesses
See profit by branch, not just in total
Retail profit is made or lost in stock and cash. Shrinkage, slow-moving lines, supplier rebates and cash that never reaches the bank all hide inside a single company P&L.
We reconcile takings to the bank, keep stock records aligned with counts, and report profit and margin by branch and category. VAT, supplier checks and payroll are handled alongside.
- Daily takings reconciled
- Stock counts and shrinkage
- Profit by branch and category
- Supplier rebates and terms
- VAT on sales and purchases
- Payroll and WPS

Retail accounting: common questions
Do retail prices have to include VAT?
Yes. Prices displayed to consumers must generally include VAT. We check your invoicing and receipts follow the rules.
Can you help with stock counts?
Yes. We help plan counts, reconcile the results to the books and report shrinkage by branch.
Does e-invoicing apply to retail?
The UAE e-invoicing rules focus on business-to-business and business-to-government invoices. Retailers that also sell to businesses need to prepare for those invoices.
